No. This course covers, the importance of correct hand washing procedures for infection prevention and control, the principles of personal protective equipment, waste management procedures and the associated risk and roles and responsibilities in preventing infection.
It is a 1 day course with a minimum of 5 hours training.
No. The qualification is obtained by a portfolio of work assessed by Newcroft. The course is 2-3 days long with a minimum of 16 hours training.
